On Thursday, February 29
th, CREW Boston came together for a night of networking, kit making, appetizers, and drinks as we welcomed our newest members and honored members of our Legacy Council.
Hosted at JLL’s beautiful space, attendees mingled while working together to assemble 20 hygiene kits for
Heading Home and 100 menstrual care kits for
Dignity Matters. Thanks to Joe Gravellese, Director of Major Gifts at Heading Home and Meryl Glassman, Development Director of Dignity Matters for telling us a little more about their organizations. In addition, attendees learned that SNAP benefits do not cover menstrual products which are expensive and something every woman needs each month. Our support from the event will help women manage their period with dignity and feel clean, healthy, and comfortable.
